Gingerbread House Decorating
Tuesday, Dec. 2, 3:30 – 5 p.m.
Patrick Henry Memorial Library in Brookneal
Build a gingerbread house from a kit. The event is for children and families, and the kits are designed with kids in mind, with one kit per group. Each group can have up to 6 participants. Registration is required at https://secure.rec1.com/VA/campbell-county-va/catalog.
Village Wonderland
Saturday, Dec. 6, 4 – 6 p.m.
Campbell County Public Library in Rustburg
This event for children and families will be inside and outside the Rustburg Library and the nearby Historic Courthouse. There will be a tree lighting, crafts, stories, and a free book for each child, courtesy of the Friends of the Rustburg Library. Take pictures with Santa and drop off letters for him.
Santa at Patrick Henry Memorial Library
Tuesday, Dec. 9, 6 – 7:30 p.m.
Patrick Henry Memorial Library in Brookneal
Stop by to see Santa and enjoy an evening of festive activities for children and families. Create a keepsake craft and drop off your letter to Santa. There will be a free book for each child.
Santa Under the Stars
Friday, Dec. 12, 6 – 8 p.m.
Timbrook Library
At this event for children and families, take a picture with Santa, listen to our holiday story with some hot chocolate, and create a keepsake craft as a family. Each child will receive a free book.
Enchanted Trail
Friday, Dec. 19, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Timbrook Library
Go on a scavenger hunt in an immersive, outdoor story experience on the Timbrook Park trails. Geared toward pre-school and elementary students and their families.
