The Concord Community Shed is a public, volunteer-led initiative to offer convenient public access to gently-used donated items for those in need or those who would enjoy their up-cycled use.
Likewise, this project serves to keep re-useable items and materials out of the Campbell County Landfill and waste stream.
Volunteers and staff have been working hard to make the Concord Community Shed ready for more frequent public access, and to ensure access is safe, comfortable and convenient.
Staff and volunteers are also working together to create new rules. Our goal is to make use of the shed more enjoyable for the public while minimizing abuse of this service and facility.
With signage, some ventilation and lighting installed, the team is hopeful to open the shed more consistently.
Special thanks to Brian Stokes, Brian Sheffer, David Hawk, Clif Tweedy, Steven Marshall, and all volunteers for all their work to bring this project back to life.
We thank the public for your patience during this time.
