The Campbell County Department of Public Works operates eight rural transfer sites at which all County residents (including those residing in the Towns of Altavista and Brookneal) may deposit residential, household waste at no charge.
Large, bulky items, such as appliances, mattresses, furniture, tires, televisions, and brush must be taken to the Livestock Road Convenience Center for disposal.
