RUSTBURG, VA - The Campbell County Department of Public and Employee Relations is proud to host the Color Our World Art Show in the Square as part of the upcoming Summer Reading Grand Finale Street Fair. This event, in collaboration with the Campbell County Public Library System, and Departments of Citizen Engagement and Quality of Life and Parks and Recreation, celebrates community creativity and provides a platform for local artists of all ages to showcase their unique perspectives through art.
Open to residents aged 2 and up, the art show invites participants to submit one (1) original piece of art that illustrates “their world” as they see it. Accepted mediums include painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, and sculpture. This inclusive event emphasizes fun, community engagement, and artistic expression across all age groups.
Categories and Age Groups:
- Pre-school (ages 2-5)
- Youth (Two groups - ages 6-9 and ages 10-12)
- Teen (ages 12-17)
- Adult (ages 18+)
Art will be judged within their respective age categories, allowing each artist an equal opportunity to be recognized and celebrated. All submissions must be made through an online application process, with details available on the Campbell County website.
