RUSTBURG, VA - The Campbell County Public Library’s events and activities are free and open to the public. All upcoming programs for children, teens, and adults can be found at https://campbellcountylibraries.org

Some are highlighted below:

Play Together: Minecraft

Rustburg Library

Tuesday, May 6, 5 – 6 p.m.

Join other gamers to play Minecraft. Have your Minecraft login information, and bring your own device or borrow one of our PCs. For ages 10 – 17. Online registration required at https://campbellcountylibraries.org/playtogether/

Storytime Picnic

Timbrook Library (Timbrook Park Pavilion)

Each Thursday through May 29, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

We will read the selected book on and off throughout the event, do themed crafts, and play yard games. You bring a snack (optional) and enjoy the day. Geared toward ages 0 – 5.

Enchanted Trail

Timbrook Library

Friday, May 9, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Go on a scavenger hunt in an immersive, outdoor story experience on the Timbrook Park trails. Geared toward pre-school and elementary students and their families.

Coding Hour for Kids

Patrick Henry Memorial Library in Brookneal

Thursday, May 15, 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.

Our fun and interactive coding hour for kids teaches them the basics of coding, problem solving, and creative thinking. Free. For kids ages 7 – 12 and their families.

Career Café

Timbrook Library

Friday, May 16, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Pick up resume kits, explore library resources, speak with career professionals, practice interviews, and get helpful tips and tricks to land the perfect job. This free program is for adults.

Musical Bingo

Rustburg Library

Tuesday, May 20, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Test your musical memory in this fun and melodic version of Bingo. This free program is for adults.

Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors

Staunton River Memorial Library in Altavista

Thursday, May 22, 12 – 1 p.m.

This free class for adults is designed to help caregivers navigate the challenges of dementia-related behaviors.
