RUSTBURG, VA - The Virginia Board of Elections has issued an order calling for a Dual Primary in Campbell County, VA.
It states that there will be a dual primary election in Campbell County on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, for the nomination of a candidate for the Democratic and Republican parties for the offices of governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, members of the Virginia House of Delegates, and local offices.
The election schedule is as follows:
Friday, May 2; 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Absentee Voting starts*
Tuesday, May 27; 5:00 p.m. Voter Registration Deadline **
Friday, June 6; 5:00 p.m. FINAL DAY for Registrar’s Office to receive an Absentee
Ballot application to MAIL a ballot
Saturday, June 7; 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Office Open for In-Person Absentee Voting
Saturday, June 14; 9:00 am-5:00pm FINAL DAY Office Open for In-Person Absentee Voting
*Absentee Ballot Applications can be completed and returned by mail, fax, email or In-person
** Voters may register after this date, through Election Day, and vote using a provisional ballot. Completed Voter Registrations applications returned to Registrar’s Office by mail,
