[ARCHIVED] Campbell County Sheriff's Office Invites Public to Wreath Laying Ceremony Thursday, May 16

CCSO Invite for Wreath Laying Ceremony

RUSTBURG, VA - The Campbell County Sheriff's Office would like to invite the public and members of the media to attend the department's annual wreath-laying ceremony, in remembrance of Deputy Jason Saunders (killed in the line of duty on April 3, 2007) as well as all fallen law enforcement officers.

The event, held in conjunction with National Law Enforcement Memorial Week (May 12-18, 2024), will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Deputy Jason Saunders Memorial Garden adjacent to the Sheriff's Office (87 Courthouse Lane, Rustburg).

The ceremony is open to the public; citizens, employees and their families are likewise invited; Mr. and Mrs. Dale and Peggy Saunders (Jason’s parents) will be in attendance as well.
