[ARCHIVED] Board of Supervisors Thanks Business Sponsors for Christmas Lighting Project Support

Thank You (6)

Making Spirits Bright

If you have driven through Rustburg this holiday season, you’ve likely noticed lighted snowflakes lining Route 24 through the village. This year, through support from local businesses, the light displays have expanded to include 3 new lighted units: a “Season’s Greetings” sign at the Rustburg EMS station; a “Joy” sign at the Historic Presbyterian Church; and a “Christmas Tree” silhouette in the Courthouse lawn.

The Campbell County Board of Supervisors and staff would like to thank First National Bank for their continued donations toward the purchase of these displays, as well as:

for their contributions toward the project.  Special thanks are also extended to Ricky Parker (Commercial Lighting, LLC) and Campbell County Public Works staff for their efforts in installing the lights.

“We’ve had many positive comments regarding the Christmas lights since they were installed last year,” said Brooke Wright, who assisted County Administration with the project. “It was our aim to provide some Christmas spirit to not only our local residents, but those passing through our area, as well.  We are excited that the project has expanded and so very thankful for our community partners who have joined with us to bring some added joy to our community.”
