Campbell County Main Library (Rustburg) will remain closed this week (and possibly into early next week) as over the weekend staff discovered surface mold/mildew on various materials shelved in the library’s collection. As a safety measure, library staff members are consulting with environmental professionals and cleaning teams to make sure that books/materials and the overall building are safe and ready again for public service.
Notice of the library re-opening will be posted on the library’s Facebook page, website and the County’s website.
Books/materials may still be placed in the library’s after-hours drop box or returned at one of the Campbell County branch libraries. No late fees will be charged to Rustburg patrons for books due during this time frame. Please be aware that library users’ account updates may be delayed during this time.
All programs at the Rustburg Main Library are cancelled until the library re-opens.
