[ARCHIVED] Sheriff's Office Announces 'Top Dog' of Paws on Patrol: K9 Calendar Fundraiser

RUSTBURG, VA - The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office is excited to announce the winner of the K9 Crimefighters Photo Contest, showcasing the incredible working dogs that serve our Central Virginia community. After an overwhelming response and public voting, we are thrilled to reveal that K9 Knox, handled by Officer Seth Reed, has been crowned the Top Dog! 

K9 Knox is 8 years old, and has been a dedicated member of the Lynchburg Police Department team, assisting in Narcotic detection, and Patrol.  Other notable entries are from Altavista Police Department, Amherst County Sheriff's Office, Appomattox County Sheriff's Office, Bedford County Sheriff's Office, and Campbell County Sheriff's Office.

Calendars are available for preorder for $15.00, with all proceeds benefiting the Special Olympics Virginia and Central Virginia Crime Stoppers.
