RUSTBURG, VA - The deadline for Campbell County Department of Economic Development’s Start Small Campbell Grant Program is set for September 1.
The program offers two $5,000 competitive grants for new Campbell County businesses.
To be eligible, a business must be in operation for less than three years or be an existing small business opening in Campbell County for the first time. The business must also hold a valid Campbell County business license and be up-to-date with local taxes.
As part of the application, applicants must attend 2 “StartUp Toolbox” courses offered by Small Business Development Center – Lynchburg Region. The StartUp Toolbox courses can be found at sbdclynchburgregion.org. Applicants must also complete the SBDC-Lynchburg Region staff review of the business plan.
