LYNCHBURG, VA - The Region 2000 Services Authority operates three (3) Household Hazardous Waste & Electronic Recycling collection days annually. These dates are opportunities for citizens to properly dispose of material which should not be put in the landfill or poured down the drain due to toxicity or the potential for pollution of groundwater.
The dates for the 2019 year are: Saturday, April 13; Saturday, June 8; and Saturday, October 12. On these dates, items will be accepted at the Concord Convenience Center, located at 2525 Concord Turnpike, Lynchburg, VA 24504, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
This service is available to residents only in Lynchburg and counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Campbell and Nelson and the towns of Amherst, Altavista, and Brookneal.

- Items must be recycled in non-returnable containers.
- There is no fee for the HHW collection service.
- DO NOT BRING LATEX PAINT
