The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office will hold the 11th annual Deputy Jason Saunders Memorial Car Show & Spring Festival on Saturday, April 28, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Yellow Branch Elementary School, located at 377 Dennis Riddle Drive, in Rustburg, VA.
In addition to a car show, the event will include a drug take-back, free document shredding, and free car seat checks. Music will be provided by DJ Music Music and More Music. There will also be free giveaways and activities for children and car lovers alike.
Food and craft vendors will be on-site with items for purchase. Pre-registration for car entries and merchandising vendors can be done at the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, located at 87 Courthouse Lane, Rustburg, by visiting www.campbellcountyva.gov, or by calling Rhonda Mason at 434-332-9580.
Fees for car entries and merchandising vendors are $15 per entry through April 20. After April 20, the fees will be $20. The first 75 pre-registrants of car entries will receive a participation souvenir.
This event, held to honor the legacy of Deputy Jason Saunders, will benefit Crime Prevention and the Friends of Campbell County Sheriff's Office (CCSO); a 501c3 organization, founded in 2016 to benefit CCSO employees and their immediate families, in the event of emergencies, medical expenses, death and/or other qualifying catastrophic events.
