The Child Care Professional Development and Quality team leads and oversees statewide professional development and quality improvement programs for home-based and center-based childcare providers. Courses and quality improvement programs are provided statewide through partnerships with a variety of early childhood and after-school care partners. Furthermore, the Head Start State Collaboration Office Director on our team is a liaison to facilitate collaboration among Head Start/Early Head Start agencies and other entities that provide services to benefit low-income children and their families.
The Vendor Relations team oversees the vendor approval process and research issues related to vendor financial data, vendor payments and related vendor automated systems. The team provides customer service to Child Care Subsidy Program (CCSP) vendors by:
Responding to programmatic inquiries;
Directing and guiding vendors to the vendor automated systems; and
Providing guidance on the use of the point of service order machines.
