Fishing & Boating

Fishing is permitted in Timbrook Park and Long Island Park with a valid Virginia fishing license. After hours fishing permits for Long Island Park are available. Fishing at Timbrook Pond is catch and release only.

The Department of Wildlife Resources maintains a boat ramp at Long Island Park with access to the Staunton River. Vehicles may access the ramp for loading and unloading boats and equipment. Boating is not allowed in the Timbrook Pond.
