The Community Relations unit is a subcategory under the Field Division, which promotes organizational strategies that support the systematic use of partnerships and problem-solving techniques to proactively address the immediate conditions that give rise to public safety issues such as crime, social disorder, and fear of crime.
Likewise, this unit actively builds positive relationships with the residents of County neighborhoods and works collaboratively with various teams to organize and host public events, and safety and crime awareness presentations. These efforts serve to not only ensure order and safety but also build and maintain trust between public safety personnel and the County at large.
