Campbell County COVID-19 Training

  2. In compliance with the Department of Labor's enactment of 16 VAC 25-220 Temporary Standard for Infectious Disease Prevention, Campbell County will train all County employees on COVID-19 and our organization's plans and measures to mitigate/decrease the spread of virus in our workforce. This training and the reading/understanding of its correlating documents must be completed within your first 2 weeks of employment. Please note that this presentation may take a moment or two to load if accessing from the Campbell County network.

  3. This training will take approximately one hour to complete, which includes the reading of the County's COVID-19 Response Plan and the Department of Labor's Standard.
  4. Please answer the following questions based on the training provided.
  5. The Virginia Department of Labor recently passed a temporary standard which requires all employers to adhere to regulations to decrease the spread of COVID 19. *
  6. COVID 19 only affects older people with existing health conditions.*
  7. COVID 19 can only be spread by those exhibiting symptoms.*
  8. COVID 19 is primarily spread through respiratory droplets transferred via person-to-person contact.*
  9. Which protocols and requirements has Campbell County put into place to minimize the spread of COVID 19?*
  10. Employees are asked to stay home if experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID 19.*
  11. Which is not a symptom of COVID 19?*
  12. Masks should cover both your nose and mouth, and fit snuggly with no gaps . *
  13. Hand sanitizer should only be used when hand washing is not available.*
  14. Requests for cleaning supplies can be made through the Public Works work order system.*
  15. Employees must contact their supervisors immediately if developing symptoms of COVID 19.*
  16. Supervisors must report any suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 to Management Services as soon as possible. *
  17. If testing positive for COVID-19, an employee may only return to work after a minimum of 10 days (after symptom onset) and after 72 hours of being symptom free.*
  18. Supervisors may tell others the name of an infected staff member when alerting other employees to possible exposure.*
  19. Employees are protected from discrimination if exercising their rights under Department of Labor standards, if wearing their own PPE, and if raising a reasonable concern about infection control. *
