Campbell County Sheriff’s Office Arrest Felony Drug Suspect; Johnson Now in Custody
RUSTBURG, VA — The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office reports that Amanda Dawn Johnson, 43, of Gretna, Virginia, is now in custody following a narcotics investigation conducted by the Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Unit (CSU). As previously reported, on January 22, 2026, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in the Lynch Station area, resulting in the seizure of approximately one pound of cocaine and more than $44,000 in U.S. currency. As a result of this investigation, Johnson was charged with Felony Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine. The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office thanks the public for its assistance. |
