Campbell County Sheriff’s Office Announces Arrest in Suspicious Fire Investigation
RUSTBURG, VA - On Friday, August 29, 2025, at approximately 8:00 a.m., deputies from the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a suspicious fire at Nash Lane.
Campbell County Public Safety, the Gladys Fire Department, and the Virginia State Police also responded and assisted at the scene.
Following the investigation, Brianna Reynolds was arrested and charged with:
- Arson in violation of Code of Virginia §18.2-77 (Burning or destroying dwelling house, etc.)
Reynolds was transported to the Blue Ridge Regional Jail in Amherst, where she is being held without bond.
