The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program
The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is a nationally acclaimed program and the largest volunteer program for adults age 55 and older. The local program began in 1972. RSVP has nearly 300 volunteers that serve over 40 local agencies in Central Virginia.
The volunteers who cross our threshold are a cross section of Central Virginia. People who have a little more time, a lot more experience to share and the passion to make a difference in their community.
RSVP helps volunteers find a suitable placement that can best utilize the interests and skills of the volunteer.
