Household Hazardous Waste & Electronic Recycling Collection Days
This is a free service for residents of City of Lynchburg, Counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Campbell and Nelson County, and Towns of Altavista and Brookneal. The remaining 2010 Household Hazardous Waste & Electronic Recycling Collection days at the Concord Turnpike Regional Landfill are:
- April 10, 2010 (Saturday) - 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (noon)
- June 12, 2010 (Saturday) - 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (noon)
- August 14, 2010 (Saturday) - 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (noon)
- October 9, 2010 (Saturday) - 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (noon)
All participants must present a photo ID. Please bring items in non-returnable containers.
A completed 
Household Hazardous Waste/E-Waste Verification Form is required.
Amherst, Appomattox, and Nelson County residents must bring a voucher from the county solid waste department.
