Community Advisory Board
Sheriff Gaddy formed a Community Advisory Board when he took office in 2004. Sheriff Gaddy selects the members that consist of representatives from all geographical areas of the county. The board members meet with the Sheriff six times each year. The Sheriff may call a special meeting of the board whenever needed.
The purpose of the Community Advisory Board is to give all citizens of Campbell County a voice in the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office. Each board member acts as a representative of their community. The board will advise the Sheriff of problems in their neighborhood as they relate to law enforcement and provide feedback on programs and services that the Sheriff’s Office provides or any new programs that the Sheriff may be evaluating or implementing. The board also assists the Sheriff’s Office with proactive recruitment of qualified applicants.
