The 6th Annual Heritage Festival will be held on August 2, 2014.  This one day event, comprised of historical and educational demonstrations, crafters, great music and wonderful food will be held at William Campbell High School and Community Park in Naruna, VA.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Campbell County Department of Recreation is to provide opportunities for leisure activities for all ages through quality programming and creating partnerships with community organizations, agencies, and citizen groups to enhance the quality of life through recreation services.

Athletics

The Athletics division is dedicated to providing fun, meaningful youth and adult programming throughout our community, focusing on good sportsmanship, team play and activities that enrich the lives of our citizens.

Cultural Arts

The Cutural Arts division provides high-quality creative programs at a reasonable cost for children and aduts. Classes are offered annually and provide excellent social opportunity for individuals to pursue their artistic interests.

Parks

The Campbell County Parks and Recreation Department maintains several park properties throught the County with various amenities for citizen use. These properties include Abbott Duncan Recreational Fields, Countywide Park, Community Park, English Park, Long Island Park, Long Mountain Park, S.R. Bryant Memorial Way, and Timbrook Park.

Senior Recreation

The Senior Recreation division offers a wide variety of activites, trips, health and wellness programs, and events geared towards senior adults. Countywide, there are seven centers where adults gather for social activities.

Theme Park Tickets

Citizens may purchase tickets for several theme parks at significantly reduced rates, Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., April - October.
