Communications Manager - Tracy Fairchild
Tracy is a Deputy Director of Public Safety and also serves as the E-911 Communications manager. Tracy has worked to establish the departments' emergency medical dispatching (EMD) program, as well as serving on several local and regional committees.
Tracy was honored as the Blue Ridge EMS Council's "Communications Officer of the Year" for 2006. Tracy holds numerous certifications in Emergency Communications and Management. Tracy is currently finishing work on a Business Administration degree.
Tracy and her husband have three children and live in Campbell County.

Emergency Medical Services Manager - Jason Stroud
Jason E. Stroud serves Campbell County Public Safety as the Deputy Director – EMS Manager. Jason is a Nationally Registered Paramedic, Firefighter and Emergency Management Assistant. Jason is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations and administration of the EMS Division, supervising the EMS revenue recovery program, serving as the tactical medic team leader for the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team, coordinating EMS training, serving as the Department’s Safety and Infection Control Officer and manages the Department’s career EMS staff.
Jason holds numerous EMS and Fire service related provider and instructor certifications and speaks at numerous EMS classes, events and conferences as well as hold numerous professional association memberships at a local, state and national level.
Jason is originally from Virginia Beach, VA where he began his EMS service in 1997 as a volunteer and career Fire/EMS provider in the Tidewater area and has been serving the citizens of Campbell County since March, 2006.

EMS Division Administrative Aide - Debbie Baldwin
Debbie serves as Administrative Aide for the EMS division. Debbie assists the EMS Manager with the day to day administration of the EMS division, and serves as the Campbell County EMS privacy officer. Debbie has a wealth of administrative experience, and previously served as the town clerk for Pamplin City. Debbie continues to pursue her education, has obtained numerous work related certifications and is actively pursuing her certified emergency management assistant certification. Debbie serves her community by being active with the Pamplin Volunteer Fire Dept. and EMS as an EMT-B and EMS Secretary.
Debbie and her two children, Kristie and Troy reside in Pamplin.

Emergency Preparedness - Karen Briggs
Karen is an Administrative Assistant for Public Safety, where she previously served as a 911 dispatcher with the county since September of 2000. Karen holds many Emergency Management related certifications and is certified in Emergency Medical Dispatching. Karen coordinates the Community Emergency Response Team training and Emergency Management Planning.
Karen lives in Hurt with her husband and daughter.
