The Campbell County Department of Public Safety, EMS Division is seeking a motivated, customer service oriented and skilled Emergency Medical Service provider.  Applicants must have current Virginia EMS certification at the level of EMT Basic or higher, NIMS IS-700 and NIMS IS-100 certification along with current EVOC and CPR certifications. In addition, candidates must be certified as a Virginia Firefighter 1 or higher. The successful candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, DMV record check, and criminal history background check.  Preference may be given to applicants certified at the level of EMT-Intermediate or higher and/or at the Firefighter 2 level.

Starting Salary Range: $30,975 to $34,515 depending on qualifications and experience.          

The position will be assigned to a 24 hour shift and may also earn an additional 7% to 8% in scheduled overtime.
