Deputy Clerk I Circuit Court Clerk's Office

 

  Deputy Clerk  

 

 

Campbell County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office is looking for a motivated and professional candidate to fill the position of Deputy Clerk I in the deeds, criminal, and civil sections of the Clerk’s Office. Applicants must have good oral and written communication skills and conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner. Duties of this position include but are not limited to the collection of fees, fines and costs, and the daily balance of the collections against receipts. A candidate in this position will record, copy and receipt land records, attend court and record proceedings and prepare court orders; take custody of evidence, and provide back up assistance and support to other staff. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. This position requires one (1) year of related office experience.

Starting Salary, $24,267 depending upon qualifications and experience.

Paralegal Assistant Commonwealth Attorney's Office

 

  

 

 

 The Campbell County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office is seeking applicants for the position of Paralegal Assistant. The ideal candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, computer, and interpersonal skills. Job responsibilities include work in support of the legal staff, documenting matters related to the criminal justice system; organization of evidence; developing and implementing manual or automated record-keeping systems to support case management; custodian of reference materials. This position requires daily contact with the staff, courts, law enforcement agencies, victims, witnesses, and the general public. This position requires a High School Diploma, or GED.  Prior legal experience and proficiency with Lotus Notes preferred.

Starting salary is $25,481 - $28,393 depending on qualifications and experience.

Communications Officer Public Safety

The Department of Public Safety is looking for an organized, forward thinking, and motivated candidate to fill a Communications Officer position. The ideal candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills to dispatch law enforcement, fire, rescue and general governmental mobile units and other personnel in response to emergency and non-emergency situations via telephone, radio and computer systems must be willing to work flexible shifts, nights, weekends and holidays. Must have graduated from high school or completion of GED equivalent, and possess one (1) year of experience.  Additional education and/or experience may be substituted where applicable.

Starting salary range: $23,112 - $27,041 based on qualification and experience
