Campbell County proudly celebrates Building Safety during the month of May. This month-long initiative, sponsored by the Departments of Community Development and Public Safety, is geared towards raising public knowledge of building code and compliance efforts and targets several important safety topics for homeowners and their families. This week’s focus is on disaster safety and mitigation.

The Campbell County Board of Supervisors, the Campbell County Economic Development Department, the Industrial Development Authority (IDA), regional business leaders and elected state officials celebrated the positive results of their cooperative support of local manufacturing at an official ribbon-cutting ceremony for a newly constructed Banker Steel (LLC.) building on Tuesday, May 7, 2013.
