Timbrook Library, part of the Campbell County Public Library System, is starting a weekly program for teens ages 13 to 18.
The program will be each Wednesday, starting on Jan. 18, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the conference room at Timbrook Library, located at 18891 Leesville Road, Lynchburg.
The participants can do the planned activity, eat a snack, or just hang out.
The purpose of the program is to provide teens with a designated space once a week in order to help them feel like they have a space in the library.
The activities will vary. One of the first activities will be to have the teens help in creating a logo for the space. The first Wednesday of every month will be Bingo.
This is a pilot program that will be offered weekly through May.
