UPDATE -  NO Board of Equalization Hearings will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023. Deadline for written appeals expired January 17.

Appeals to the Board of Equalization must be in writing on forms obtainable at the County Real Estate office or by emailing and must be filed on or before the end of business on January 17, 2023.

Pursuant to §§ 58.1-3331 & 58.1-3332 of the Code of Virginia, you have the right to view and make copies of records maintained by the county assessment office in accordance with the procedures set forth in §§ 58.1-3331 and 58.1-3332.

As required by Section 58.1-3201 of the Code of Virginia, your property has been assessed at 100% of its fair market value.  Property values change from year to year because of new construction, additions, rezoning, land subdivisions, or other changes.
