CCVA News Item Reassessment

The 2023 assessment notices have been mailed. Please note that these notices reflect the revised assessed value as of January 1, 2023 for the property described in the “CHANGE IN ASSESSED VALUE” block of the document.  

As required by Section 58.1-3201 of the Code of Virginia, your property has been assessed at 100% of its fair market value.  Property values change from year to year because of new construction, additions, rezoning, land subdivisions, or other changes.

All appeals of the Campbell County 2023 reassessment will be held in the County Real Estate Office located in the Citizens Services Building at 85 Carden Lane in Rustburg, VA.
Hearings will be held: 
Morning Hours: 
December 8th, 12th                          9:30 am - 4:00 pm     
December 9th, 16th                          9:30 am - 1:00 pm           
Evening Hours: 
December 6th and 13th                   11:00 am - 7:00 pm                  
If you are not satisfied with the results of your hearing, you may continue your appeal to the Board of Equalization.  Appeals to the Board of Equalization must be in writing on forms obtainable at the County Real Estate office or by emailing and must be filed on or before the end of business on January 17, 2023.
Pursuant to §§ 58.1-3331 & 58.1-3332 of the Code of Virginia, you have the right to view and make copies of records maintained by the county assessment office in accordance with the procedures set forth in §§ 58.1-3331 and 58.1-3332.
