From Campbell County Department of Public Safety, Director Tracy Fairchild.
To our Campbell County Residents,
We at the Campbell County Department of Public Safety consider it an honor and privilege to serve you and are fully committed to your well-being in the midst of this global health situation. Our response teams regard it their highest duty to ensure your health and safety needs are met and that you are provided with the best care and protection possible should you need our services. We are here for you, we are prepared, and are steadfastly working for you.
In addition to the efforts of local health and emergency care providers, it takes a united front of everyone working together to keep our community safe. Caring for others is an attribute that runs strong in Campbell County and during these times we have a heightened responsibility to take extra measures to protect our families, co-workers, neighbors, and those diligently working to serve others.
With that in mind, I ask you to keep up the good work in practicing social distancing, only going out when really necessary, keeping good hygiene, and only calling 911 if you have an emergency situation. Although other localities in our state are identifying higher numbers of COVID-19 cases, this is not a time to relax our concentrated efforts to flatten the curve of this virus. This is the time we need your help the most. It will take all of us working together over the weeks ahead to make an impact and I encourage you to remain committed to these important measures until we can safely return to normal practices.
We commend you for what you as a resident are doing to protect those around you and we will remain faithfully on the front lines to provide you with optimum health and safety services during this time.
We are at your service,
Tracy M. Fairchild
