[ARCHIVED] Sign-Up for Local CodeRED alerts with a Simple Text

As we are in an active summer storm season, in addition to the COVID 19 pandemic, we encourage residents to sign up for local weather and emergency alerts through our CodeRED notification system. Campbell County now provides a text enrollment option to make the process even simpler.

To sign up via text, just type CAMPBELLVA to 99411 to receive a direct link to the enrollment form on your mobile device. You can also click here to go directly to the CodeRED sign-up page.

Fill in your contact fields and select the types of alerts you’d like to receive and how you would like to receive them (text, email, phone, etc.).

As a reminder, always be prepared for any weather incident or emergency by keeping food, water, medicine, personal hygiene and other necessary supplies in stock. Have a plan in case power goes out for an extended period. For other general preparedness measures, click here.

Stay safe, stay healthy, and stay informed!
