[ARCHIVED] May 5 Campbell County Board Meeting and Budget Public Hearing Available Via Zoom

BOS meeting 05.05.2020

To comply with national health and safety directives and minimize risk to residents, the Campbell County Board of Supervisors Meeting (6:00 p.m.) and Budget Public Hearing (7:00 p.m.) for Tuesday, May 5, 2020, will be available to residents via the ZOOM meeting platform (in both video viewing and phone listening modes). Please note that both May 5 meetings are being offered under one meeting link. Participants can join at any time during those sessions.

While social distancing thresholds will be maintained for those wishing to attend in person, for health and safety purposes, the Board encourages use of the following communication channels to provide feedback on the FY21 advertised budget:

  • ONLINE: Click here to conveniently submit your comments via an online form. 
  • EMAIL: Email your comments to County Administration at budgetfeedback@campbellcountyva.gov. Please title the subject line “FY21 Budget Feedback”.
  • MAIL: Send feedback via US mail to: Board of Supervisors, c/o County Administration, P.O Box 100, Rustburg, VA 24588.
  • CALL: Call Campbell County Administration at 434-332-9525, 283-9525, or 592-9525 to convey a brief message for the Board. Voice mails left at this number will likewise be accepted and notated.

Please note that comments toward the FY 21 budget must be submitted/received prior to 12 noon on Tuesday, May 5 for Board review. Please include your name and physical address in your communications/correspondence.

Some tips and points to remember regarding ZOOM participation:

  • You may join using the above webinar link or via phone up to 15 minutes ahead of time or at any time during either the Broadband Authority or Board of Supervisor meetings.
  • If you are accessing the meeting from a browser or the Zoom application, you will be able to view the Board of Supervisors in attendance in the Board room. You will also be able to see any Supervisor and/or Staff member participating virtually, provided the virtual participants have joined using computer or phone video. If you are using the phone feature, the virtual Board and Staff participants will only be heard and not seen.
  • If you are accessing the meeting from a browser of the Zoom application, you will have the capability of using the Q&A chat feature within Zoom.
  • If you are dialing in via phone to listen, you may share your questions or comments by emailing administration@campbellcountyva.gov
  • There is no cost to you to use the ZOOM platform.
