[ARCHIVED] Community Development Offices Closed to Public Effective March 23: Staff to Continue Services

Community Development Header Collage

In an effort to keep our contractors, citizens, and staff safe during the COVID-19 outbreak we will be closing our office to the public effective 3.24.2020 until further notice. We will continue to offer the same services via phone, email, and our citizen portal. Our inspectors will still be making site visits to make sure contractors and citizens are able to continue their projects.

TO APPLY FOR A PERMIT:

Please visit our Citizen/Contractor Portal at: https://co-campbell-va.smartgovcommunity.com/Public/Home

Once you set up an account on the portal, you can apply for building and zoning permits, upload documents, and schedule inspections. We have step by step instructions available if you need assistance.

TO SCHEDULE AN INSPECTION:

If you have a portal account and would like to schedule via the portal, you may do so. We are also accepting inspection requests by phone and email. All inspection requests MUST be made by 4:30PM to be scheduled for the next business day. When calling or emailing, we will need the PERMIT NUMBER and TYPE of inspection.

FOR PLANNING and ZONING:

Submit plats and site plans for review through the portal or by email. If you need a final plat or site plan signed, please mail to the address above with a check or call with a credit card, along with your name and phone number, and arrangements will be made for picking up the final signed plat or site plan. If you have questions concerning applying for a special use permit or rezoning request, please call or email.

We are here to help! Please call or email and we will address your needs as quickly as possible. Thank you for your support and understanding!
