Lieutenant Kenny Kirby, a twenty year volunteer member of the Concord Volunteer Fire Department, was recently recognized during the Virginia Fire and Rescue Conference, held annually at the Virginia Beach Conference Center.

On Saturday, February 24, 2018, during opening ceremonies, Lt. The Virginia Department of Fire Programs, in partnership with the Virginia Fire Services Board, facilitated these awards.
