[ARCHIVED] Deputy Jason Saunders Memorial Car Show & Spring Festival Set for April 29

The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office will hold the 10th annual Deputy Jason Saunders Memorial Car Show & Spring Festival on Saturday, April 29, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Yellow Branch Elementary School, 377 Dennis Riddle Drive, Rustburg. The rain date is Sunday, April 30, 2 to 6 p.m.

In addition to a car show, the event will include a drug take-back from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; free shredding from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; free car seat checks; and a Child Identification Kit. Live music will be provided by Reed Creek and Fear One. There will be free giveaways and a bounce house for children.

Food, vendors, and car show T-shirts will be available for sale. Pre-registration for car entries and merchandising vendors can be done at the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, located at 87 Courthouse Lane, Rustburg, or by calling Rhonda Mason at 434-332-9580. Fees for car entries and merchandising vendors are $15 per entry through April 21. After April 21, the fees will be $20. The first 75 pre-registrants of car entries will receive a participation souvenir.

All proceeds from the event will benefit crime prevention, Project Lifesaver, and Relay For Life.
