2017 Youth Basketball Registration

For youth ages 5 through 17.

Registration for youth basketball will run from Friday, Sept. 1 through Friday, Nov. 3. Players are encouraged to sign up early so we can have the Jamboree in December.

The Parks and Recreation Department no longer honors requests to be on a certain team or with a certain coach.

Drafts for each age group will be announced.

In an effort to get more participation, we will offer separate leagues for girls in the 7- to 8-year-old age group. If we do not get enough girls for a league, we will combine them with the boys.

Fee: $55 for first child, $50 for second child, and $45 for each additional child ages 5 through 17.

You may register at the Parks and Recreation Office Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

You can also register at one of the open gym registration sites to be held by Parks and Recreation. Participants will be able to sign up for the youth basketball leagues at the site where they attend school. The dates of these open gyms are the following:
  • Wednesdays Oct. 18, Oct. 25, and Nov. 1
  • Sundays Oct. 15, Oct. 22, and Oct. 29.
The table below shows the age groups that can sign up at the gyms and the location and times. There will be no open gym registration for the 5 - 6 years age group. Parents may register them at any of the sites.
