The Board of Supervisors, Planning Commission, and Board of Zoning Appeals hold public hearings on zoning and planning matters on the dates and times and at the locations given below.

PL-16-103 (Monkeywrench Drive)
– This request is to rezone 14.48 +/- acres from Business – Heavy Commercial and Agricultural to Industrial – Heavy with a concurrent special use permit to expand the operations of the existing truck terminal.

Dec. 5, 2016 meeting 

PL-16-107 – Lynch Mill Road: Request by Jeff Myers, agent for Robert and Tammy Lee, to rezone property located on the east side of Lynch Mill Road, approximately 950 feet south of the split with Goodman Xing Road from Residential-Single Family to Residential-Multi-Family for use as a masonic lodge. 

PL-16-114 – Covered Bridge Road: Request by James Barbour, agent for Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church, to rezone property located at 6354 Covered Bridge Road from Agricultural to Residential-Single Family to subdivide the parcel and sell the existing home. 

PL-16-118 – Camp Hydaway Road: Request by Todd Carroll, agent for Liberty University, for a special use permit to construct and operate a shooting range and related school uses on property zoned Agricultural. The property is located on Camp Hydaway Road across from 42 Lakeridge Drive. 

PL-16-119 – Nickland Drive
: Request by Greg Cruz Sr. for a special use permit to add a second dwelling unit to an existing single-family home for use by an immediate family member on property zoned Residential-Single Family. The property is located at 74 Nickland Drive. 

Public hearing on Semi-Annual Updates to the Campbell County Code, Chapter 21-Subdivision Ordinance and Chapter 22-Zoning Ordinance: The Planning Commission is asked to provide a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors after conducting a public hearing. The Board will consider this matter on Dec. 6.
