Services are privately available in most localities to aid
citizens with their well drilling and water testing needs. Check your
local yellow pages under "Water Treatment" "Water Testing" and "Water Well Drilling and Equipment" to find local service providers.
For additional information regarding water testing, please contact Todd Scott.
Test At Home Some pharmacies stock kits for testing water at home; these
are primarily screening kits for determining if bacteria is present.
Local laboratories can also conduct a variety of water tests, for a
fee. These laboratories can also be found in the yellow pages.
There are usually fees associated with water testing. Check with your local extension agent to determine what tests should be conducted for your water supply area.
